Knit (k): In loom knitting, there are different types of knitting. Each one looks the same essentially, but the tightness of the fabric is different and so is the way it behaves when you knit with it, especially with lace. They are as follows
e-wrap
This is made by wrapping the peg from front, around the back, and out the front, and tossing the existing loop on the peg over it. It is the loosest stitch and best for lace and cable. It’s very easy to learn.
True Knit Stitch
This is also known as the “reverse purl”. The knit stitch is done similar to the purl stitch, but opposite, which makes it a true knit stitch.
U-wrap
The u-wrap is done by wrapping the front of the peg to the back, making a “u” with the yarn, and pulling the existing yarn over the wrap. This makes a pretty tight stitch and is not twisted.
Flat
This stitch is done by putting the yarn directly in front of the peg and pulling the existing stitch over it. It is very tight and doesn’t stretch much
