I used the CinDwood 56 peg “Knitted Knockers” 56 peg 1/4″ fine gauge loom, with pink pegs! Done with the free Swizzle Socks pattern, on Ravelry. I had never really used this loom before. The pattern calls for multiples of 6, for 3×3 ribbing, but I made do with my 56 pegs. I’m using Mary Maxim sock yarn, in “Berries” and I love how it stripes. The wrap and turn method for the heel and toe are much nicer than the slipper socks I’ve made.
I did a Kitchener cast off. It’s not perfect, but it turned out pretty nice. Onto sock 2!

Nice job! I just finished my first pair of socks on that same loom. What is the Kitchener cast off?
Thanks!
You can find it on Youtube, it’s a form of grafting. Also, Brenda has a pattern on Ravelry called “Sidestreet” which explains it easily. I just added a new sock pattern with a few links. Basically, you remove the first half of pegs onto scrap yarn or a holder, fold it over, put each loop on the other side, so you have two loops on each. Then you go in a “down down up up” pattern. So you’d do the first peg by going down it, and then go down the bottom peg (with the yarn attached to a needle for ease), then up. You go to the second peg, go up both loops, then down the peg beside it (not the first peg, the 3rd), go back to peg 2 and go down the bottom loop, then up the next 2 loops on the next peg. It’s a bit of a triangle. I will add a tutorial.
