Today’s featured pattern is the 10 Stitch Heart Blanket created by Scarlett Royal to the same tune as the good old 10 Stitch Blanket, which has been around forever, is still incredibly popular, and there have been a bunch of variations made, like a circle, hexagon, star, and more.
This pattern is somewhat challenging and I’m pretty advanced. It is a fast pattern though but the actual digital pattern could use more pictures of explanations. It does knit up quickly. It looks super neat.
If you can knit and purl, you can do this. You can use any loom and any yarn, make it any size. I’m using Toybox Collection Candy yarn by Plymouth Yarn. It’s made for size 7 US needles and is 5sts = 1 inch. Sorry, it doesn’t give the exact size. It works well with this loom, which is a bit bigger than 3/8″ but not 1/2″.
I’m using 6 sections, or 12 pegs of my KB Small Gauge flexiloom and it does take a couple to get used to, it’s incredibly compact and saves a lot of space and frustration. Definitely give this pattern a try!
